  • Physics and hemodynamics of echocardiography
  • Left ventricle assessment
  • Right ventricle assessment
  • Valvular assessment

Day 2 – Saturday June 11th 2022

08.30 to 12.30

Small group supervised scanning – real patients with selected cardiac pathology

Candidates should have a basic working knowledge of echocardiography eg RCEM level 1 or equivalent

Places are limited to ensure optimal supervised scanning time

The cost of this workshop is €300, redeemable from NCHD Training Supports Scheme

This programme is being supported by the Directorate for Education, Research and Innovation (DERI) at the Mater University Hospital and will be delivered on site at the Pillar Education Centre at the Mater Hospital campus
